Ocyropsis‐Inspired Fast‐Swimming Transparent Soft Robots (Adv. Funct. Mater. 31/2025)

Abstract

Transparent Soft Robots In article number 2421522, Geng Yang, Chao Zhang, and co‐workers present a bio‐inspired, transparent soft robot designed for underwater environments, which combines the electro‐hydraulic actuation principle with the Ocyropsis‐type propulsion mechanism. The robot exhibits high‐speed swimming, agile obstacle avoidance, and excellent energy efficiency, thereby underscoring its promising potential for applications in underwater exploration.
