MWPC developments at Rutherford Appleton Laboratory for medical imaging

Abstract

We report the work in progress at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory in the development of various MWPC-based systems for biomedical applications in areas such as X-ray microscopy, autoradiography and positron emission tomography.
