Hip and groin pain is a disabling condition, whose frequent causes are osteoarthritis, avascular necrosis, osteitis pubis, sports hernia, femoroacetabular impingement, bursitis, labral tears, hip dislocations, fractures, and snapping hip syndromes. However, the diagnosis is often difficult because of the complex anatomy of the area. The aim of this chapter is to illustrate some of the most common causes of hip and groin pain.
