“Nothing is more powerful than an idea whose time has come.” Why was ISBCS resisted and how was this overcome?

Abstract

It is generally accepted that when a new disruptive paradigm comes along, it is routinely rejected, until it reaches a threshold, at which point, everyone says “I knew all along that this was a better way.” This chapter tracks the theory of underlying human resistance and how it applied to ISBCS. It concludes with how the challenges were overcome.
