Catch and release: Gold adsorption and sorbent electrochemical regeneration
Abstract
Wastewater generated from e-waste leaching is rich in precious metals including gold, silver and platinum. Conventional precipitation and solvent extraction are chemically intensive separations with concerning environmental externalities.
