Inhibition of Lipolysis With Acipimox Attenuates Postburn White Adipose Tissue Browning and Hepatic Fat Infiltration.
Abstract
Extensive burn injuries promote an increase in the lipolysis of white adipose tissue (WAT), a complication that enhances postburn hypermetabolism contributing to hyperlipidemia and hepatic steatosis.
