Preparation of magnetocaloric materials
Abstract
Magnetocaloric effect, MCE, is heating or cooling of a magnetic material upon application or removal of magnetic field. Materials that display a significant MCE, a temperature change a few degrees or more, are called magnetocaloric materials.
