Abstract

Today, the majority of the commercial electrified vehicles use Interior Permanent Magnet Motors (IPMSMs) for propulsion. An IPMSM can deliver high starting torque and high efficiency in the low- and medium-speed operation, which makes it attractive for propulsion applications.
