Chapter 10 Applications in reliability
Abstract
In this chapter, some key applications of hybrid censoring to diverse reliability problems are highlighted. First, by assuming that a failure in a component could arise from different competing causes, inferential methods are developed based on Type-I hybrid censoring and Type-II hybrid censoring schemes.
