Measurement of proton-carbon forward scattering in a proof-of-principle test of the EMPHATIC spectrometer

Abstract

The next generation of long-baseline neutrino experiments will be capable of precise measurements of neutrino oscillation parameters, precise neutrino-nucleus scattering, and unprecedented sensitivity to physics beyond the Standard Model.
