Nuclear structure of 159Tb, 161Tb and 163Tb studied with the (t, α) reaction
Abstract
The 160Dy(t, α)159Tb, 162Dy(t, α)161Tb, and 164Dy(t, α)163Tb reactions have been studied using a 17 MeV triton beam from the McMaster University Tandem Accelerator. The α-spectra were analyzed with a magnetic spectrograph and the resolution obtained in the best spectra was 16–19 keV FWHM (full-width half maximum).
