Correlation Effects in EOM-CCSD for the Excited States: Evaluated by AIM Localization Index (LI) and Delocalization Index (DI)

Abstract

We have extended the evaluation and interpretation of QTAIM (quantum theory of atoms in molecules) localization and delocalization indices lambda (LI) and delta (DI) to electronic excited states by studying ground states (at HF and CCSD levels) and excited states (at CIS and EOM-CCSD) of H2C=CH2, HCCH, H2C=O, H2C=S, CO2, CS2, and SO2.
