Structural chemistry and solvent properties of dimethylsulfoxide
Abstract
An examination of the chemical environment and structure of dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO) in the solid state leads to a description of its bonding properties that is useful in proposing structures for solvation complexes in DMSO solutions.
