Busy Period Distributions For Two Heterogeneous Queueing Models Involving Batches*

Abstract

The joint distributions of the length of a busy period and the number of customers served in that period in a M/G/1 queue with heterogeneous bulk input from c sources and in a G/M/c queue with heterogeneous bulk service are derived.
