ON THE INTERPRETATION OF SUPERNOVA LIGHT ECHO PROFILES AND SPECTRA

Abstract

The light echo (LE) systems of historical supernovae in the Milky Way and local group galaxies provide an unprecedented opportunity to reveal the effects of asymmetry on observables, particularly optical spectra.
