Decay of 97Zr and its daughter 97Nb

The energies of the gamma lines following the β decay of the 17 h 97 Zr isotope and its 72 min daughter were precisely measured. With these results, the level scheme of 97 Nb, as derived by Siivola and Graeffe, was essentially confirmed except for minor changes and more refined energies. The level scheme of 97 Mo as derived by Graeffe and Siivola was modified and a few level spin and parity assignments were tentatively made.
