Kynurenine to tryptophan ratio as a biomarker of acute stress in fish

Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the kynurenine (KYN) to tryptophan (TRP) ratio (KTR) in fish tissue to assess its usefulness as a biomarker of acute stress.
