Abstract

Clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) is the major cause of kidney cancer death. Downregulation of the Raf kinase inhibitory protein (RKIP) tumor suppressor likely contributes to ccRCC progression and fatality; however, this possibility has not been thoroughly examined.
