Gene therapy, a targeted treatment for diabetic nephropathy.
Abstract
Diabetic nephropathy (DN) is a major complication of diabetes and the leading cause of end-stage renal disease (ESRD). Approximately, one third of diabetic patients develop diabetic nephropathy.
