Abstract

A DNA aptamer targeting naturally degraded protein fragments was selected by M. Liu, J. D. Brennan, Y. Li, and co‐workers in their Communication on page 7706. The aptamer binds a degraded form of toxin B from Clostridium difficile and can detect this protein fragment in human stool.
