ELECTRIC ARC FURNACE DUST INJECTION INTO IRON AND STEEL MELTS
Abstract
The dust generated during electric arc furnace (EAF) steelmaking contains zinc and lead. The dust can be injected into the furnace to enhance the zinc and lead grades in the dust; however, the kinetics of this operation is poorly understood.
