A novel displacement cascade driven irradiation creep mechanism in α-zirconium: A molecular dynamics study

Abstract

Zirconium alloys used in nuclear reactors undergo irradiation creep, which consists of a visco-plastic deformation activated by irradiation occurring under constant load.
