Enhanced-power NFDM transmission system with midpoint optical phase conjugation.
Abstract
We investigate the combination of a nonlinear frequency division multiplexed (NFDM) transmission scheme with midpoint optical phase conjugation (OPC), and show that midpoint OPC introduces power enhancement by compensating for nonlinear impairments.
