Asymptomatic Atypical Hyperplasia and Endometriosis Following Treatment with Tamoxifen: A Case Report and Review of the Literature
Abstract
BACKGROUND: Tamoxifen may cause proliferative effects in the endometrium. Patients on tamoxifen have an increased risk for endometriosis, but are not routinely screened for this.
