Superfluidity of lattice semions
Abstract
Semions on the square, triangular, and kagome$aa— lattices are studied using mean-field theory and numerical diagonalization. Semions are particles obeying fractional statistics, with statistics parameter ν=1/2. A mean-field treatment which includes Gaussian fluctuations indicates that semions on a lattice form a superfluid at zero temperature for most densities ρ.
