Gas absorption at a liquid surface agitated by vortex rings
Abstract
Abstract Underwater vortex rings have been formed at orifices of between 25.4 and 63.5 mm diameter and projected upwards at the surface of the water. The conditions of ring formation at which significant surface deformation occurs have been correlated.
