Effects of inhibition of thromboxane A2 synthesis in aspirin-induced asthma
Abstract
Since inhibition of cyclooxygenase precipitates asthmatic attacks in patients with aspirin idiosyncrasy, we have evaluated the effects of pharmacologic inhibition of thromboxane A2 (TXA2) synthetase, next to cyclooxygenase enzyme in arachidonic acid cascade.
