Corrosion of New-Generation Steel in Outer Oil Pipeline Environments

Abstract

New-generation high-strength pipeline steels are susceptible to corrosion attacks at their outer surfaces, from bicarbonate and carbonate in the hydrated soils in which pipelines are buried.
