Formation of hollow fibers by electrophoretic deposition

Abstract

Submicron alumina and zirconia powders were electrophoretically deposited on carbon fibers. Deposit thickness was evaluated for several deposition durations and the obtained results were further utilized for formation of alumina/zirconia laminates of controlled layer thickness.
