A remark on the configurational entropy of a liquid solution with a weak tendency to association

Abstract

A weak tendency to association may significantly increase the molar configurational entropy of a liquid solution. This circumstance should not be overlooked if one intends to use a positive excess entropy to describe experimental data within the framework of the CALPHAD method.
