Spinel coatings for UNS 430 stainless steel interconnects
Abstract
At the usual temperature of solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) operation, ferritic stainless steels form electrically insulating or poorly conducting oxide scales, which can cause high internal resistance losses and chromium poisoning.
