EVALUATION OF SUBCUTANEOUS CALCIUM HEPARIN THERAPY IN THE TREATMENT OF THROMBO‐EMBOLIC DISEASE
Abstract
Forty‐three patients were treated with calcium heparin by subcutaneous injection, and the anticoagulant response was carefully evaluated by serial clotting time determinations in 32 cases. An adequate anticoagulant effect could be obtained in the majority of patients with two injections per day, and in the remainder by either one or three injections per day.
