Milrinone for persistent pulmonary hypertension of the newborn
Abstract
BACKGROUND: Persistent pulmonary hypertension of the newborn (PPHN) is a clinical syndrome characterized by suboptimal oxygenation as a result of sustained elevation in pulmonary vascular resistance after birth.
