Abstract

Fibroblast heterogeneity is known to exist in chronically inflamed tissue such as pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) and scleroderma. We have previously shown differences in proliferation rates in primary lines and cloned lines of fibroblasts derived from IPF tissue compared with normal lung.
