Guanosine enhances NGF-stimulated neurite outgrowth in PC12 cells

Guanosine at 30 and 300 microM elicited the de novo extension of neurites from PC12 cells. With saturating concentrations of NGF, guanosine acted in a synergistic manner to enhance neuritogenesis.
