Abstract
BACKGROUND: The phenotypic spectrum of cystic fibrosis (CF) has expanded to include patients affected by single-organ diseases. Extensive genotyping and nasal potential difference (NPD) testing have been proposed to assist in the diagnosis of CF when sweat testing is inconclusive.
