Factors Associated With Epilepsy in Children With Periventricular Leukomalacia

Abstract

Children with cerebral palsy associated with periventricular leukomalacia frequently develop unprovoked epileptic seizures. This article reports an analysis of risk factors for epilepsy in children with radiologically confirmed periventricular leukomalacia.
