A thermal logic device based on fluid-solid interfaces
Abstract
Thermal rectification requires that thermal conductivity not be a separable function of position and temperature. Investigators have considered inhomogeneous solids to design thermal rectifiers but manipulations of solid lattices are energy intensive.
