abstract

  • ABSTRACT The correction of medial canthal defects following tumor resection is a very common problem in oculoplastic surgery, and consequently, many surgical techniques have been devised to accomplish this. Limberg's "rhomboid flap" is a technique which has been modified especially to suit the particular anatomy of the medial canthus. This technique embodies mobilization of thin eyelid skin as opposed to thicker nose, brow, or facial skin. A representative case is presented.
