Abstract

The neurotensin/neuromedin N precursor molecule possesses four lysine-arginine dibasic residues which represent potential sites of cleavage by proteolytic maturation enzymes. As shown in the preceding paper, all of these dibasic residues are cleaved to a variable extent in rat brain.
