The 2020 IEEE 4rd International Conference on Smart Internet of Things (IEEE SmartIoT 2020) was hosted in Beijing, China on August 14-16, 2020. We received totally 97 submissions from over 30 countries and regions, which were put into the review process, and each submission was carefully peer-reviewed by 3 reviewers. The technical program committee consists of members from all over the world. The authors and those PC members from the same institution were separated in the reviewing process to avoid conflicts of interests. The manuscripts have been ranked according to their original contribution, quality, presentation and relevance to the themes of the conference. After a rigorous review process, 33 were accepted as regular paper, with an acceptance ratio of 34.0%. In addition, 20 papers were accepted as special session paper, and 7 papers were accepted as poster session paper. All the accepted papers will be included in the technical program and presentation at in the conference.
