Generators of the mapping class group of a nonorientable punctured surface

Let [Formula: see text] denote the mapping class group of a nonorientable surface of genus [Formula: see text] with [Formula: see text] punctures. For [Formula: see text], we show that [Formula: see text] can be generated by five elements or by six involutions.
