Importance of Ca2+-Hormone Interaction in Conformation-Activity Correlations

The enormous strides in peptide research made in the past few decades are the result of the pioneering efforts of scientists who foresaw the power of synthetic peptide chemistry in unravelling the structure-function correlations in peptide hormones. In this chapter, I present an overview of recent studies in my laboratory that address the question of the bioactive structures of peptide hormones.
