Design of an expandable simulation system for virtual distribution network

Abstract

The scheme for the design of an expandable simulation system for virtual distribution network is analyzed. As the main programming language, the C# language is used and the XNA is adopted as an interactive three-dimensional scene development platform, and the numerical simulation modules are used for power flow calculation of distribution network. Users can freely construct three-dimensional virtual distribution network by use of distribution component library and distribution network design modules, and the constructed virtual distribution network can be directly utilized to simulate the operation of distribution equipments and faults.
