Abstract

This chapter reviews the history of the conception, developments, meetings, and discussions that made up the International Society of Bilateral Cataract Surgeons. It concludes with the effect on the practice of ISBCS caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and an assessment of the achievements of the iSBCS.
