Development of a second-tier method for C4, C5 and C2 acylcarnitine analysis in plasma

INTRODUCTION: Acylcarnitines are typically analyzed using either a flow injection analysis (FIA) method or liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) methods.
