AbstractHigh yield routes to H2NBF2, H2NBCl2, and H2NBBr2 (via dehydrohalogenation of H3N·BF3 and H3N·BCl3 and a NH3/BBr3 gas‐phase mixture by use of on‐line He(I) photoelectron spectroscopy) have been demonstrated, and the identities and orbital assignments have been established by a comparison with methyl‐substituted analogues and the isoelectronic ethylenes.
