An Analysis of Leucine tRNAs during the Development of Tenebrio molitor

Abstract

The biosynthesis of a protein can be regulated at the level of transcription of the genetic information into messenger RNA or at the level of translation of that information into the amino acid sequence of the protein. When studying the mode of regulation of protein synthesis by juvenile hormone at the molecular level it is important first to define whether this regulation is being exerted at the translational level, at the transcriptional level or possibly both.
