Abstract To further evaluate the suitability of small fish species for sentinel monitoring, a comparison was made between the responses of trout-perch (Percopsis omiscomaycus) and the larger white sucker (Catostomus commersoni) under similar conditions of pulp mill effluent exposure and mobility.
