Reconstructing Earth's surface oxidation across the Archean-Proterozoic transition

Abstract

The Archean-Proterozoic transition is characterized by the widespread deposition of organic-rich shale, sedimentary iron formation, glacial diamictite, and marine carbonates recording profound carbon isotope anomalies, but notably lacks bedded evaporites.
